6月28日下午，“金桥国际杯”首届湖南省大学生现代物流设计大赛校内选拔赛在逸夫楼333交通运输与物流学院学术报告厅举行。交通运输与物流学院院长庞燕教授、副院长邓旻涯副教授出席了此次选拔赛。物流工程、物流管理教研室共17名教师出席了此次活动并担任此次答辩会的评委。来自我校物流工程与物流管理专业，自愿报名组队参赛的11支队伍的55名大学生参加了此次校内选拔赛。
选拔赛开始之前，参加答辩的11支队伍随机抽签确定答辩顺序；主持人李义华副教授宣布了答辩比赛规则及注意事项；经过4个多小时答辩，评委会综合各队提交的方案与现场答辩情况，筛选并确定了3支队伍的15名同学，将代表学校参加2016年“金桥国际杯”首届湖南省大学生现代物流设计大赛，期待他们在大赛取得优异成绩。
学院院长庞燕教授表示：通过此类活动，不但可以通过“赛与学”相结合推动我校物流类本科专业的教学改革和教育科学研究，而且可以极大地提升我校物流类本科专业学生的综合素质、创新意识以及学以致用的能力。（文稿：李义华，摄影：任腾）
