中南林业科技大学英语演讲比赛如约而至！我们的历届比赛都受到了全校师生的关注和参与，是最具人气最有特色的大学生学术比赛。今年比赛与往年不同的是，我们邀请到了湖南电影频道的重磅加盟！电影频道将与中南林业科技大学外国语学院联合主办2017年“恩格里喜杯”英语演讲大赛（Together英语协会承办）。比赛期间还将同时开展《恩格里喜哈哈SHOW》、《恩格里喜朗读者》两档英语节目的演员选拔活动，以及湖南电影频道英语联盟的全校推广活动。

湖南电影频道是国家为扶持民族电影产业、繁荣电影市场首批开办的省级专业电影频道之一，全国电影频道联盟成员，潇湘电影集团有限公司旗下唯一省级覆盖电视频道。开播11年来，频道收视率持续上扬，位居全国电影频道联盟体第一位，在湖南省内电视频道中位居前三甲，多次斩获湖南晚间所有频道排名榜首；仅2017年第一季度，频道共获12个晚间第一。

我们为什么举办这个活动呢？
在英语学习越来越成为主流热潮的背景下，湖南电影频道于2017年7月全面推出《恩格里喜哈哈show》，该节目是国内首档方言结合情景剧的英语表演秀。由众多本土知名笑星演绎，资深英语老师教学，亲切的乡音，纯正的英语口语，让人们在观看电视节目的同时，也能快乐地学习英语。

节目一经播出受到全省各个年龄层次英语爱好者一致好评，创下频道开播以来持续收视第一的新纪录。在此基础上，近期又将再全新推出一档英语教学类节目《恩格里喜朗读者》。节目由双语主持人、资深英语培训讲师袁野，英美口语教学专家邹密担任英语朗读指导老师，潇湘蒙太奇传媒有限公司承担节目制作，于湖南电影频道每日黄金档播出。以个人成长、情感体验、背景故事与传世佳作相结合的方式，选用精美的英语诗文，用最真实的情感读出诗文所赋予的个人价值，节目旨在实现用英语诗文感染人、鼓舞人，给观众带来口语纯正、情感丰富的英语朗读。两档英语节目都会在此次英语演讲比赛的过程中，挑选爱说英语、热爱表演的优秀双语大学生，成为电影频道特邀演员，参加《恩格里喜哈哈SHOW》、《恩格里喜朗读者》的节目录制。

你们有英雄联盟，我们有英语联盟
与此同时，湖南电影频道还将倾力打造“英语联盟”。电影频道将和外国语学院全面合作，为中南林业科技大学的莘莘学子提供一个长久、持续的英语交流活动平台。“英语联盟”能进一步加深学生对英语的关注度和喜爱度。学生们有机会结识来自全球的国际友人，向世界推广中国文化，促进东西方文化交流。“英语联盟”还将利用电视台的资源推动学生社团活动，为大学生提供在电视台等单位实习和向社会精英人士学习的机会。
